So, I'm going to Las Vegas.
What are some things I can do to have fun?
Blind friendly tours or attractions?
I already have tickets to see the Phantom of the Opera, going on the gondolas in the Venetian, and a partially walking sightseeing tour.
What about accessible gaming? Bingo?

There is one of those Madame Tussauds wax museums. I was there with a group of other blind people once and we had permission to feel all the statues. There was also a room where celebrities had put their hand prints in plaster that you could feel. I assume the leader of our tour group got special permission ahead of time for all of us to come and grope the statues, but you could probably get permission by talking to someone who works there.

yes you can I was able to touch all the wax figures in the one in New York city was really a cool place. When I'm in Vegas all I usually do is gamble. I have gone a few times with my band to play shows but once that is done I hit tyhe casino until its time to leave town. So outside of gambling have not really done much in Vegas.

If you like rollercosters, the Stratusphere has 3 on top of the hotel. They're awesome.
Also, there's always food, lots and lots of food.

How were the prices there for food and hotel? I haven't been west of Dallas, as of yet.

I just got back from a week in Vegas yesterday and already want to go back. We had soooooo much fun.
As for prices on hotels, I really can't say because someone paid for my flight and hotel. We stayed at the Belagio and it was awesome! Yes, I have amazing friends.
Anyway, the prices for other stuff pretty much depend on where you go. For example, we had dinner at the buffet at our hotel one night and it was $31.99. Now, before you start freaking out, this buffet had prime rib, crab legs, and a crap ton of other yummies.
I also ate at Emerald's Seafood House at the MGM. My bill was $55 plus tip. I had BBQ Shrimp, lobster bisque, and a cezar sallad that litterally was an entire head of lettuce. lol One day, I grabbed a pizza at the Pizzaria and it was only $5 and was huge. Again, it just depends on where you go.
So, yeah, food is pretty expensive. Fortunately, the portions are great.

As for things to do for fun. If you're a thrill seaker, you absolutely cannot go to Vegas without doing the Vegas Sky Jump. It's a controlled freefall on a Zipline off the 108th floor of the Stratusphere. It's 855 feet of awesomeness. It cost $100 but I paid the $40 extra to have a wrist cam so I now have a video of the whole thing. Waaaaaay worth the price!
If you like 80's rock music, you will absolutely love the Rock of Ages show at the Venician. It was really great. We also saw Terry Fador the vantriliquist. He was funny.
The comedians at the Brad Garrett Comedy Club were good too. I had pretty good luck at the slots too. I won $300 on one and $400 atthe airport before boarding the plane to come home.
I'm already planning our next trip. Not sure when it will be because we need to take a family vacation first butman, I can't wait to get back to Vegas. I have far too much Texas in my Vegas system right now. lol
